PMI-B offers three primary categories of sponsorship:

• Chapter Partner – sponsorship of the Chapter as a whole
• Event Sponsor – sponsor of a specific major PMI-B event
• Meeting Sponsor - sponsorship of a monthly or annual Chapter meeting

The Description of the Sponsorship clause in Principle 9 above shall include but not be limited to these three categories of sponsorship.  The Board of PMI-B, may at their discretion accept other forms of sponsorship, to include in-kind sponsorship, in lieu of direct financial contributions.

Chapter Partner 
Maximum Number:        5 per annum, as detailed below:
Fee Structure:              Gold - $5,000 per annum (Maximum of 1)
                                      Silver - $2,500 per annum (Maximum of 2)
                                      Bronze - $1,000 per annum (Maximum of 3)
Sponsor Benefits:

• Placement of the sponsor’s logo and sponsorship status (Gold, Silver, Bronze) on the PMI-B website ‘home page’. It would be visible on opening the home page, identify the sponsor as a ‘Partner’, and include a link to the sponsor’s web site.
• Placing the sponsor’s logo and sponsorship status on any e-mail or printed newsletters that PMI-B may produce from time to time during the period of the sponsorship.
• Two free registrations to any monthly Chapter Event within one calendar year.
• Two free registrations to any major Chapter Event within one calendar year.
• The sponsor may display the PMI-B logo on the sponsors’ website with a link to the PMI-B website home page.
• The sponsor may display the text “Partner of the Birmingham Chapter of PMI” and the Chapter logo on any sponsor material as approved by PMI-B.

Event Sponsor
Maximum Number:        4 per event
Fee Structure:              $1,000 per event

Sponsor Benefits:

•  Placement of the sponsor’s logo on either the Chapter website’s “Calendar of Events” page. It would identify the sponsor as a ‘Major Event Sponsor’ and include a link to the sponsor’s website.
• Placement of the sponsor’s logo on any printed newsletters that PMI-B may produce associated with the event.
• Two free registrations to any monthly Chapter Event within one calendar year.
• The sponsor may display the PMI-B logo on the sponsor’s website with a link to the Chapter’s website home page.
• The sponsor may display the text “Event Sponsor of the Birmingham Chapter of PMI” and the Chapter logo on any material associated with the event as approved by PMI-B.

Meeting Sponsor
Maximum Number:        2 per monthly meeting
Fee Structure:              $250 per monthly event

Sponsor Benefits:  The sponsor may choose to do any one or more of the following:

• Set up a display at a PMI-B monthly meeting and be mentioned by the Chapter during the event.
• Provide a five minute presentation at the beginning of the event. This session must include content that is of a benefit to the members present.
• Provide an acceptable ‘door prize’ to members to the value of up to $100.
• Provide two free registrations to the event.
• Distribute promotional materials at the event.

A Meeting  shall choose the two spSponsor may agree to sponsor any number of PMI-B events, except the annual meeting which is considered a major Chapter event.  If at any time there are more than two parties interested in sponsoring a monthly meeting, PMI-B Chapteronsors depending on when their respective sponsorship agreements were received.
